+ (DV ELEOmiC TKLKGKAI'JI.—COJ'YKICJUT). London, May 30. The match betweon the Australian eleven and Lancashire was resumed to-day. Rain had fallen during the night aud made the wickot very difficult to pk<y. Lancashire were all out in the first innings for 78 ; Hornby, L'J ; Luinb, "2s. Turner, as usual, on a bad wicUet, was quite unplayable, and obtained six wickets for (53, 'Ferris getting two for .'l3. The county did no better in their second innings, which closed for 83. Hornby again did well, making 20, but Uriggs was chief scorer with HO. Turner scored five wickets for 10, Ferris one for liS, and Trumble four for 13. The Australians thus won by an innings and IoG runs. The following will represent M.C.C. and Ground in the match against the Australians, which begins on Monday:—\V. (_!. (Jrace, Shuter, W. \V. Head, Marchant, (!unn, Barnes, Flowers, Martin, Shaddock, Shurwin, and A. I'J. Stoddatt. The match will be brought to a close on Tuesday evening in order to allow the team to visit Kpsom on Wednesday to witness the Dorby. _______________
