At the meeting jf Varley's Mission Committee the accounts and balance-sheet were duly audited and passed, the total receipts being £322, After the payment ot all expenses, there was a balance of £70, which was handed over to Mr Varley. Atthe meeting of the Board of Education to-day the following report of tho committee re teachers' residences was adopted —viz.: "That teachers bo held liable for all internal repairs to the residences, but exclu.sivo of damage arising from fire, flood or tempest; that the out-going teachers be required to leave the residence cleaned and in a fit state for occupation, and the last month's salary be paid when the Board are satisfied that this condition has been tulfilled.
