I hereby give notice that it is my intention to apply to the Waipa County Council for a renewal of the License for my Slaughter-house, situate on part of Lot S3, Parish of Te Rapa, JOHN BETTLEY. IN THE MATTER of "The Public Works Act, 1852," and the amending Acts thereof, and in the matter of the taking by the Waikato Couuty Council oJE certain lands in the Parish of Whangamarino, in the Rangiriri Outlying District, in the County of Waikato, in the Provincial District of Auckland, for use as a road : *» Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the WAIKATO COUNTY' COUNCIL to TAKE CERTAIN LANDS in the Provincial District of Auckland, hereinafter more particularly described, for the purpose of constructing a road, and all persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing auy well-grounded objections to the execution of such work, or to the taking of such lands, and to send such writiug within forty days ir'om the publication hereof to the said Waikato County Council, in the Provincial District aforesaid. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said lands are open for inspection at reasonable hours at the Post-office, Waerenga, in the Parish of Whangamarino aforesaid, and the following is the description of the said lands :— All that parcel of land in Section No. 191, Parish of Whaugamarino, commencing at the southwestern corner of the said Section No. 191, and running along the south-eastern boundary thereof for a distance of 3194"5 links, one chain wide, containing by admeasurement 3 acres and 1 rood, more or less, coloured pink on the said plan. 2nd, All that portion of land contained in Section 1 of the Parish of Whangamarino aforesaid, commencing at the north- '. eastern end of the beforedescribed laud, and running generally easterly through the said No. 1 Section to the eastern boundary of the same, one chain wide, and containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods and 10'7 perches, more or less, coloured pink on the plan. 3rd. All that portion of land in Section 7, in the Parish aforesaid, commencing ut tho south - cast boundary of the same, and running along the north-east boundary 1235 links, thence along the north-west boundary 384 links, thence diagonally across said Section 7 in a westerly direction to the northeast boundary of Section No. 5, and containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 15 perches, more or less, being land required for a road line through the aforesaid sections, the property respectively of George Reed, of Whangamarino, farmer, George Hill; jun., and John Row laud Hill, farmers, at Matahura, and Charles Alexander, sharebroker, as trustee or agent in the estate of the late Thomas Beckham.
