A NARROW ESCAPE.
[BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. 1 Wellington, Sunday. A MAN nani"d .Tames Crawford, an expressman, had a narrow escape of being killed last night. He was walking across Willisstreet, when ho was knocked down by a tram. The wheels, fortunately, did not pass over him, but the car had to be lifted in order to extricate the man, who was a good deal knocked about.
