GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.

A RABID PARSON. In his Church at. Townhill, Dunfermline, ono Sunday lately, tho Rev. Jacob Primmer requested tt>e special prayers of his coiiirroff ;ition on behalf of the Queen, that hlio bo deliverer! from the evil influence of the ex-Empress of France, who was following Her Majesty, ho said, like an evil spirit. No sooner did the Queen go to Balmoral than this bigoted Papist went, to Abergeldie, and ouly recently Her Majesty paid lier a visit. Two years ago a Jesuit priest in Brighton boasted to a gentleman—a friend of ono of his (Mr Primmer's) correspondents— whom lie took for a priest, that it was expected that in a short tiran the Empress Eugfriio would bring the Queen over to the Church of Rome. This infatuated woman had already brought ruin on her late husband, and much blood shed in France, and rbe boasted that the late Franco-Prussian war was her war ; and she now sought the ruin of the Queen by perverting her to tho idolatrous, superstitious, and iniquitous Popish Church. He hoped they would pray God that He would deliver Her Majesty from the disastrous influence of this crafty woman, who was indeed the dupe and tool of the wily Jesuits.
