LONIJON", April 22. Tub Diilv Chronicle states t-h•«t Prince ISi.-anarck is trying to arrange an Anglo-German alliance, England's part being to protect til German colonies in case of war with franco. The. Chronicle further says it is reported that Lord Salisbury is inclined to look with favour on the proposal, provided Germany will make a Russian advance on Constantinople or Herat a casus belli.
