HAMILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
Special Meeting,
A Kl'KCI.u, meeting of the Hamilton Borough Council was held in the Coimcil Chambers, Hamilton, at 4 p. in. j'esterday, to open the tenders for caretaker of the bath. Present: His Worship the Mayor in the chair, Crs. Tippen, Salmon, 8011, Missen, von Stunner and Knox. Tenders.— There wero three tenders received, viz, from Messrs 1). Mclntyre, T. M. Hill junior, (ind .7. G. Pannell, to take the baths under the following condition : —That the caretaker be allowed the right to collect the fees which shall be as follows : men and women one penny each ; children, season tickets two shillings and sixpence each. The hours to be for males 7to 8 a.m, 12 noon to 1 p.m., and 4.30 to 5.30 p.m. ; for females, 10 to 11 a.m., and 2 to 4.30 p.m., the caretaker to be allowed to open the baths nt any other time than that specified.—Cr. Missen moved that Mr Pannell's tender be accepted.—Seconded by Cr. von Stunner and carried unanimously.—ln reply to Cr. Salmon His Worship said that should the baths be thrown open to the public and any accident occur the Council would be liable. This was all the business.
