Tuesday.—(Before Major Jackson and Capt. Beckett, J.P.) .Tohn Gaumonsway was charged on the information of llett it with the larceny of a saddle valued at £3. Constable Ryan prosecuted. It having been proved to the satisfaction of the Bench that accused took the saddle and disposed of it to Frank Stewart. They imposed a fine of 10s, and costs £3 Is. Charles Davis was charged on the information of James Miller with having assaulted him. After hearing a considerable amount of evidence the Bench fined defeudant os and costs £110s.
