Paeuoa, Wednesday. Cuown. —The parcel of ten tons of ore is now being treated at Railey's. It has been crushed and will be passed through the settlers and pans to-morrow. Water is somewhat scarce. Adeline. —The 5 tons has left for the Thames. It is probable that the tailings from the recent magnificent crushing will be submitted for sale. Woodstock.—A parcel of 10 tons will be put through Railey's immediately. A firstclass return is anticipated. The County Council, being now perfectly satisfied as to the permanent success of Railey's new plant, are calling for tenders for a line to be cleared previous to the erection of a tramway, the proposed cost to be £400. Mr Pavitt, county engineer, is now engaged on the work. There is generally a more healthy tone prevailing on the field. THE LATEST. (BY TELEGRAPH,—OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Paelioa, Friday. It is stated that a large contingent of the Tuhourangi natives will visit Ohinemuri and Kirikiri in a week or two, and that they will be invited to stay.
