The steamer Charles Edward hasjujt left for Wanganui with the Nelson volunteer*, who, to the number of 252, will take part in the Easter encampment there. CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday, Six hundted volunteers left by special train at 10.45 to-night for the Oamaru encampment. DUNEDIN, Thursday. A baker was fined £2 10j and coats for selling light bread. The magistrate characterised the offence as a fraud which affected the poor materially.
