A MILL HANI) named Whitiugton Lane, residing at Kaituna, was accidentally -h>>t yesterday innrning, when getting into a boat at Havelock to go duck shooting. His companion, named Harry Gorrett, was handling a gun, when the charge went off and lodgod in Lane'a groin, He died soon after. Deceased was 30 years old, and leaves a wife and two yonni? children.
