MAIDEN PLATE, of 10 soys. For all horses which have never won an advertised Flat Race. Weight for age. Distance, 1 mile. 3. MAORI HACK RACE, of 5 soys. Catch weights. Ridden and owned by Maoris. Distance, 1 mile. Post entry. 4. ROTORUA CUP HANDICAP, of 20 soys. Sweepstake of £1 to go to second horse. Distance, 2 miles. 5. PONY RACE (14 hands and under) of 5 soys. Catch weights. Distance, 1 mile. Post entry. 6. SELLING HACK RACE, of 5 soys. Catch weights. Winner to be sold for £10 immediately after race ; surplus, if any, to go to funds of club. Distance, 1 mile. CONDITIONS. Nominations for Hurdles and Rotorua Cup, to close with secretary on Fiulay, 26th March, at 6 p.m. Acceptances and general entries on Wednesday, 31st March. Three horses or no race. Qualification fee of 21s for all races except Nos 3, 5, 6, and 8. Colours of riders, performances, and pedigree of horses, must be forwarded with entrance money to the secretary at time of entry. Entrance 10 per cent. ; 5 per cent on nominations ; 5 per cent on acceptances Auckland Jockey Club rules will be adhered to.
