The Position of Messrs Chamberlain and Trevelyan. [BY TELEGRAPH.— COPYRIGHT. — REUTER.] London, March 10.

A Press Association message says: —Messrs Chamberlain and Trevelyan have only threatened to resign if Mr Gladstone's Irish proposals are not modified
