BOYCOTTING A FUNERAL.

. — *. An extraordinary case of boycotting occurred in Tipperary recently. The father of a land bailiff named Michael Baragary died on Sunday. His son, the bailiff, visited Tipperary on Monday, and ordered a coffin and hearse from an undertaker. Some evicted tenants on the estate of Mr Thomas Dowling, who employs Baragary, followed the bailiff, and, after the latter had completed arrangements for the funeral, the evicted tenants informed the undertaker that he would incur their enduring anger if he supplied the order. The undertaker yielded to those threats, and the bailiff had to go to Limerick to make the necessary funeral arrangements.
