Animal Blood.
Tub blood of the loww amtnnla is commonly colorless. It iiag, however, a bluish oast in crustaoeans, reddish, yellowish or greenish in worm?, and reddieh, greenish or bronrniah m jelly fishes. The blood ia odorless ia the muscular part of fishes ; that of bird* ia of thj doepesd red. Tha /ed liquid which appears when tha head of tha fly is crashed is not blood, but corned from the eyes. In vertebrates the blooJ is red, excepting ia one flpecie? of white bloo led fish.
