Messes Ingram and Co., of Auckland have wired to the promoters of the proposed cheese facton^ for the Cambridge distiict, offering to "erect a factory with the necessary machinery, supeiior to any a yet erected in the Waikato, for £1100. The committee appointed at the meeting, on Satiuday last, to gather the necessary particulars are busy at work, and will submit their report at the public meeting fixed for .Saturday afternoon. The pro posal has been received with considerable enthusiasm by the settlers generally, and if success is not achieved it well not be for the want of attention and haid work on the part of those who have got the matter in hand.
