JSIo confirmation has yet transpired of the report that an agreement had been come to between Frauce and China, ihe latest news from Foochow states that considerable alarm prevails there owing te the fear that, the French fleet intend to bombard the town. All the English ladies and children have embarked on board the vessels in port, and most of the foreign residents are leaving. A detachment of marines from the iintish men-of-war has been landed to afford protection to the English residents in case of necessity.
