[REUTERS TELbGRAMS.] Sydney, July 26. A case of small-pox, but of a mild type, 13 repotted from Forbes, a town 240 miles west of this city. The local authorities have taken every precaution to prevent the spread of the disease. Melbolunr July 19. It is announced that the Government intend shoitly to i^sue an Order-in-Couucil in connection with the outbreak of binall-pox in this city. Edmund Marshall, the well-known comedian, was run o\er by a vehicle in thu street to day, and died from injuries received.
I Received 28tli July, 1 p.m ] SYDXfcy, July 2S. It has bcipn asceitained that the patient at Forbes is suffering from measles, not small-pox as supposed. The quduiufrne which had been established has consequently been fused. Melbourne, July 28. Altogether there are about a dozen cases of small-pox now in existence heie. Hobvrt, July 28. Four arrests have been made of persons believed to be implicated in the bank robbery at Beaconstield. None of the money, however, has been recovered.
