TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — As there appears to be some misapprehension in the pnMic mind as to the meaning of the poll to he taken on Tuesday, Bth iiist., will you allow me to explain through your columns that the Government not being satisfied with the advertisement of the poll taken on April Ist, and requiring fuller particulars, have directed that the poll shall be taken again. The poll is for the same loan of £642 which the ratepayeis sanctioned in April last. — I am, &c. N. T. Maunder, Clerk, Waipa County Council.
