This popular country meeting was held on the Heiangi course on the 18th inst. The racing was good, and the fields hi most cases were large. The attendance was not so gieat .as m former years. This may principally be ascribed to the death of tvo of our oldest settlers, which pievented a good many Europeans from attending. The meeting however in every other way was a successful one.
