The Egyptian Policy and the Opposition. I Londox, February 7. Sir Stafford Northcote has given notice in the House of Commons of his intention to move, on Tuesday next, that the recent disasters of the Egyptiaus in the Soudan are the result of the wavering policy of the Government in connection with Egypt. The Marquis of Salisbury, in the House of Lords, gave notice of a similar motion, and the discussion is also fixed for Tuesday.

Troops for the Soudan. London, February 7. It has transpired that the Mediterranean Squadron, under the command of Lord John Hay, has been ordered to proceed without delay to Suakim. A foiceof 1200 marines also embarked at Poitsmouth this week, for the same destination.
