The bailiffs took possession of the State school yesterday by virtue of a distress warrant issued by Messrs Arnott ano^ Seabrook, contractors, of Greymouth, andfl this morning the teacher and childrerir going to the State schools foundi the^ doors locked by the bailiffa. Tba stationary, school property, etc, are to be sold by auction on Saturday next by Lthe bailiff unless the debts are satitfif*.' Great indignation is felt" in town abQOT .. the matter. Later.
