Of mining news there is none, no change having as yet taken place in the condition of affairs. Those of the men who remain here are still on strike, but most of them, the best of them, have left the place. The hon. Mr Mitchelson and party, accompanied by Mr J. B. Whyto, M.H.K, arrived last night, and went out to Waiorongamai this morning to nee the battery and tramway, Mr Mitchelson afterwards went on to the Thames by one of Bradley's coaches, Mr Whyfce returning to Hamilton, leaving here at 12.30.
