THE WEATHER.
A singularly sudden change in the weather took place on Tuesday. The sky was cloudy all day, and towards evening 1 ram commenced to fall, increasing in volume as the night advanced. The wind was exceptionally strong, so much so that sever.il young trees in the neighbourhood of Hamilton were torn up. The storm seems to have extended over the whole colony, though foitunately no serious damage is repotted. The hay crops and such of the grain crops as are ripe must, however, ha\ o sustained coiibideiable injury.
