HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Forbes Gordon to be the Returning Officer to conduct the first election of five Commissioners of the Town District of Kihikihi, as constituted nnder " The Town Districts Act, 1881;" also to appoint Saturday, the sth January, ISS4, to be the time, and the Town Hall at Kihikihi to be the place, for holding such first elections ; aud also to appoint Saturday, the 12th January, 1884, at II o'clock in the morning, to be the time, and the said Town Hall to be the place, for holding the first meeting of the Commissioners. No entry will be received except upon the condition that all claims, disputes and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final.
