SUICIDE OF A PRESBYTERIAN MINISTER.
The Rev Mr Sherriffu, >a Presbyterian Minister from W.iipukurau, Napier, committed suicide this lnoimug, at tho residence of Air John McLean, Newtown. The door of his bedroom wasbur.-itopen, when deceased was found hanging from the bod-pout by a stiap, quite dead. It isbshe\ed that ho was suffering from temporary insanity. An inquest will b& held. Air SHerriffs was aged 42, and wat> a native of Aberdeen.
