Hia Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint James Paton Thompson, Esq., to be Returning Officer to conduct the first Elections of Five Commissioners of the Cambridge Town District, as constituted under the Town Districts Act, 1881 ; also, to appoint THURSDAY, the Ist day of June, ISS2, at the Highway Board Office, Cambridge, to be the time and place for holding such first elections ; also to appoint FRIDAY, the 9th day of June, 1882, at 7 o'clock in the evening, at the said Highway Board Office, to be the time and place for the first meeting of the Commissioners of the said district.
