OPUNAKE, Last Night.
A.horse threshing machine, while working at Opunake yesterday s by some means exploded, breaking the machine to small pieces, wounding six natives, two seriously. From all appearances they had a most miraculous escape. On, Thursday last a native hung himself at Parihaka through jealousy.
