The Anti- Jewish riots which occurred at Warsaw during Clnistmas week, were much more serious Hum first leporfced. At D\ unken, the population a\ recked ,"500 houses, and 1000 shops belonging to the Jews. They murdered the men, outraged the a\ omen, and committed acts of great barbarity, not sparing even children. Policemen and soldiers fraternised m ith the rioters, and the military only interfered when the greater part of the mi&chief had been done.
