It will he seen by an advertisement elsewhere that the W.S.N. Company purpose laying on their steamer Delta for their usual annual trip to the Heads.. To those who want to vary a little the monotony of life we think this opportunity very valuable, especially as the buramev will soon be drawing to a close. The company are anxious to make these trips popular, and will therefore spare no effort to ensure the comfort and pleasure of those who patronise them. The steamer is well-known as a commodious boat, particularly suited for a trip of this sort. The cabin seats a large number of passengers, and the stewards provide liberally for an occasion like this. The scenery, as tlie boat proceeds down the river, is often remarkable for its beauty. In parts the noble stream -widens out to the extent of nearly a mile, and is studded over with picturesque islands — we believe there are over thirty in one place. The moonlight will be a great advantage, as it will be about nine o'clock when the port will be reached. Passengers can either sleep on board or go on shore to cottages specially provided. The trip will not be an expensive one, as one pound will cover the passage both ways, and voyagers can either caiTy their own provisions or purchase them at reasonable rates on board. • Each should come provided with a blanket or rug. The bracing effect of a trip like this, where the sea breeze can be enjoyed, to say nothing of bathing in the salt water, cannot be overestimated.
