A "MEETING of Ratepayers of the Kirikiriroa Highway District will be held at the Waikato County Council Chambers, Hamilton East, on Saturday, the 15th inst., at 3 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of considering a proposal made by the Road Board Trustees to stop a road at Kiddle s Hill, particulars of which have been advertised weekly since 16th July. T.ike Notice that the Road Board Trustees propose, under provisions contained in Section 4 of the " Public Works Act, 1880," to CLOSE A ROAD running through Lots 43 and 55, and to take land for the purpose of opening a new road thiough Lots 42 and 55, Parish of Kirikiriroa. PIRONGIA HIGHWAY DISTRICT. NOTICE is hereby given that the Pirongia District Board intend on the Bth day of October next, to make a rate of One Shilling in the Pound on the rateable value for the year ending 3 1st Morch, 1882 ; that the said rate will be payable in one sum on the Ist day of November, 1881, at the residence of Mr Tames Sherret, Harapepe ; and that the ratebook is open for inspection at the same place. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at any Telegraph Office by NOON of the same date, previded that written tenders in due form are lodged at a District or a Resident Engineer's Office by the same hour.
