LAST NIGHT'S SITTING.
The Pensions Question. Whilst Mr Speight was speaking, Mr Hall brought a message from the Government, recommending the House to consider the question of the Pollen pension. Mr Hall moved that the House consider the message on Monday, which being agreed to, and Mr Speight resuming, Mr Hall objected on the ground that the question was now by Order before the House. Mr Speight therefore gave up speaking on the Pensions question, and continued, on other subjects. Immediately after dinner Mr Hall gave notice of the cloture resolutions. The discussion of the motion adjourned was then continued by Mr Speight, Sir George Grey, and Mr Seddon, who is still speaking. [Left sitting.]
