Kiuikiui, Last Night. A jiost important meeting lv& just been held in the schoolroom. W.ihanni presided, and lepresentcd Tawluao, from whom ho read correspondence declaring Messrs Tolo were the sole owners of the Ngamoko block. The announcement was received with applause. Mr Sloane returned thanks on behalf of the residents, hoping thab all similar disputes between the two races would be settled in a similar] y amicable manner. Te Puke then defended hi? claim, but Rewi closed him up by some uncomplimentary remarks as to his ancestors. Large supplies of food have been presented.
