WAITOA HIGHWAY DISTRICT. IT IS HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Waitoa Highway District Board, intend to meet in the Nottingham Castle Hotel, Piako,onjtho6thday of AugustlBBl, at 11.30. a.m. for the purpose of making a rate of ninepence in the pound for the period commencing on the lsc day of April 188 1, and ending on the 31st day of March 1882, to become due and payable in one sum on the Ist day of September 1881. The rate-book is open for inspection at the residence of Alexander Bremner who is appointed collector to tha Board; and the said rute is to be paid to him at his residence on th 3 said Ist day of September 1881. AT the annual meeting of the Ratepayers of the above-named district held in the Nottingham Castle Hotel, Piako, on the 16th July inst., Office-bearers were duly elected as follows :—: — Highway Board : W. The Tuhikaratnea Highway District Board intend meeting at the school on Monday, August Bth, at 7 o'clock, p.m., for the purpose of making a rate of Is m the £ on the value to let of all the Rateable Property in the said district, for the year ending, 2 1st March, 1882. PUKEKURA HIGHWAY DISTRICT. A petition having been presented, signed by 28 ratepayers, requesting me to call a special meeting of the ratepayers for the purpose of forming the township of Cambridge West into a separate Highway District, I hereby give notice that a special meeting of the ratepayers of the Pukekura Highway District, to consider the above subject, will be held in tho School-house of Cumbridge West, on Monday, the Bth of August next, at 6 p.m. EDWARD LAKE, Chairman, P.H.D.B. MANGAPIKO HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Manjrapiko District Board to make a Rate of Ninepence in the £ upon the values of the Rateable Property as appearing in the Valuation List, on SATURDAY, August 6, 1881, for the period, commencing on the Bth day of August, 1881, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1882 ; the same to be payable in one sum on MONDAY, August 8, 1881, and that the Rate Book is open for inspection at the residence of the Secretary, N.
