Intercolonial Weather Exchange. Wellington, Last Night
Storm centre reported v on Wednesday evening as beingoff Albany (King George's Sound) has now advanced as far as Portland, where a strong N.W. pale is blowing. Barometer is recovering in the West, and falling in the East of Australia, Sydney, 30-3; border, 298.
The Wrecked Schooner. The Maggie Patterson lies in the same position. She is not much damaged. The southerly gale is still blowing, and the sea at the Heads has slightly increased. The Detached Squadron. The Detached Squadron will remain at Auckland five days. Steamer Missing. Nothing yet has been heard of the steamer Mohaka, which left Blenheim for Wellington on Monday last, but it is surmised she has sought shelter in one of the neighbouring sounds. Stranding of the Wakatu. The s.s. Wakatu, -which ran ashore at Patea on Wednesday, was floated off last evening, without having sustained any injuiy. t
