The Intercolonial Cricket Match. Sydney, March 7.
The cricket match , between the Australians and eleven of New Sonthr Wales and Victoria was resumed to-day. The combined team continued , their second innings, and were all disposed of for 2&0 runs. The Australians then required 332 to win the match, and went m for their second innings, and when play was closed for the day had put together 10 runs for the loss of three^wickets. Sydney, March 8. The cricket match between the Australian team and the Combined Eleven of New South Wales and Victoria was resumed to-day. The Australians were all disposed of fo* 85- in their second innings. Murdoch not out for 31, and McDonnel, caught, ' 18, being the top scorere, : -and ithe * combined team thus won the match by 246 runs. A severe hailstorm fell during thfe adjournment; for luncheon, and renderad the ground very dead.
