Terrible Storms. London March 8.

Ve>*y severe hurricans, acompanied by a heavy fall of snow have been experianced over the greater part of Scotland during the past 24 hours. Great damage has been done to property. Terrific gales raged on the coast, and numerous shipwrecks resnlting and great loss of life occurred. So far as at present ascertained fully 100 persons are known to be drowned in vessels foundered at ports and off the coast.
