The Cape Insurrection. Cape Town, January 12.

Communication, though of an intermittent ehaiaetei, has again been established between Natal and the Trans>\ aai, and intormation has been received regarding the position of the British tioops at Fotchef&tioom. The Boers have laid seige to the place, but the garrison can hold out for a month, having sufficient supplies for that period, and it is hoped that by that tune reinforcements can be sent for the lehef of the besieged.
