' The Australians commenced a match to-day against a strong team, consisting of 18 of Northampton. The latter went in first, and had scored 65 with the loss of one wicket, .when, owing to the inclemency of the wheather, the play was stopped for a day. London, June 25. The match between the Australians and Eighteen of Northampton, at Northampton, was resumed to-day. The weather was showery during the day, and the wicket was again very dead. The home team in their first innings, were all out for 86 runs. The Australians then went in for their first innings, and were all disposed of for 86 runs. The home team went in again for their second innings, and when the stumps were drawn for the day they had lost four wickets for eight runs.
