Five pounds for cloikina: duties were voted to Drill-lii-truot'ii 1 Carley foy °ervites rendered, \\ hieh latter, if carefully calculated, would be found to be equal to three time-, that amount. The adoption of helmets — blue, with horsehair plume — was deckled upon. Trooper William Bond preferred the helmet as uted by tho A.C. 7?oiee. Ciptain Kutheifoid and Lieutenant Wilkinson were appointed delegates to confer on regimental matters with, the Troops at H iinilton and Cambridge. Tiooper AY. Bond considered that the Troop would be greatly benefited by instruction in forfc dull. It was decided that at Church invades members should appear in full uniform, on foot, with sputa and white gloves. It was resolved that the " Band of the Regiment" .should a:ivo a concert and dance in aid of the Band Fund— date, about the 23rd prox ; all members of the Troop to endeavour to attend ; none of them to appear out of uniform. The following appointmenLs of noncommissioned officers was then announced as having been made by the commissioned officers. This procedu c is strictly iv accordance with the Resruhtion^ of the New Zealand Volunteer Foico. At the same time, this rule does- not obt lin iv Hamilton, where the Troopers are permitted to nominate their own " noncoms." The appointments thus made were : — Corpor il U-eorire Finch to be Sergeant; Trooper "William Bmd (of A C For°e celebrity) to bo Si-rgeaut ; Tiooper Micfarlane (holder of Clvimpion Belt) to be Corpoal; Trooper I. C. (Ji-ierson to be Corporal. — Own Corespondent.
