QUERY.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — It U commonly circulated that Or. Price * undertook, previous to his election as councillor, to get Clide-street gullies bridged, the street cut through, formed, and gravelled from Le Quesne's pub. to Galloway-street. If so, the price for Le Quesne's nomination and support is apparent. Numbers of the burgesses doubt the truth of report. It would relieve the minds of some of Cr. Price's friends if he would publicly deny the statement. As such a report is calculated to do Cr. Price considerable injury at the beginning of his political career. — I am, &c, One Who Wants to Know You Know.
