[PRESS AQEITCY.I AUCKLAND, last night. In tho Police Court, Henry Black, alias Broome was committed to trial for stealing £9 from a settler, named Manuel Christian, at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. At the Board of Eeucation today, a letter was read from the Minister of Education, through Mr Hislop, stating that the work of the district was too much for one Inspector.
