"¥ITRITTEN TENDERS will be received at this office Ti up to noon on Wednesday, 2nd September, 1874, for the erection of a BRIDGE over tho WAIKATO RIVER at NEWCASTLE, They must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, and marked outside " Tender, Waikato Bridge." Plans and specifications may be seen at this office, and at the Public Works Offices, Auckland and Newcastle, on the arrival of the first mail after this date. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at any telegraph office by noon of tlie vine date, provided that written tenders in duo form are lodged at a District or Resident Engineer's Office by the tame hour.
