Mr Tonfcs moved an address to (he Superintendent, requesting lum to send down a Bill to amend the Members' Remuneration Act, and make provision for country members drawing an bonorarium for six days in tbo week. .Agreed to. The report of the Select Committoe upon the disposition of tbo old Supreme Court site was, on tbo motion of Mr Swnnson, agreed to. The Auckland Grammar School Reserves Bill was read ■second time. Tho object of the Bill is to give power to tbe Supprinteiulont to soil, exchange, or lease such reserves by 1 public tender,' as well as by auction. The words 'public tender' were, on tho motion of Mr Shepherd, substituted for 'pnvnlp contract.' » llh Honor the Superintendent's recommendations, relative to the reservation of certain lands atGisborno us endowments for tho Provincial Hospital an«l Lumitic Asylum, and also for tho benefit of tho town of Gisborne, were agreed to. The Estimates of Expenditure were all passed, and tho Appropriation Bill reported. The Fencing Bill and Impounding Bill were re-committed, some verbal amendments wero made, and the third reading fixed for Monday next. Mr Kelly moved for £400 for works in tho district of Opotiki, viz., a bridge on the site of Canoe Bridge ; a surfline at the end of the river ; for whnrf extension ; a road to unite tho Otara and Waioekn settlements; also a road through tho table land. Agreed to. Mr Lundon moved for an increaso of £50, as an addition to the salary of tlio Harbor-master and Pilot at Wongaroa Mr Slieclum accepted tho motion, subject to certain inquiries and conditions being made. Mr Sheolian moved tho adjournment of tbe House to 2 o'clock on Monday next. Ho hoped to be ablo to conclude the business of tho Session by Tuesday night. Motion agreed to. Tho House rose at 11 o'clock.

To bo revenged, ho picked up a stone and lumllod it at tbo mule, but by accident struck his companion on the bock of the head. Seeing what he hud done, he stopped and begun lo groan and rub his head.
