Tenders for Ditch and Bank.

npENDERS will be received by the undersigned until -•- tbe 7th March next, for the construction of Two Hundred and Fifty-three (253) Chains of k Double Ditch and Bank on his property Vetween the Waitoa and Piraunui stream;, Upper Thtimeß district. The Bank to be tive (5) soils m height and capped, both Ditches to be four (4) feet in width at top, three (3) feet in depth, and one (ll foot in width at bottom. The whole to be completed on or before the 30th June, 1874. The lowest or Tender not necessarily accepted. New Zealand Railways. WAIKATO EXTENSION RAILWAY. SLEEPERS. Office Agent General Government, Cambridge, 25th Feb. 1874. TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Agent General Government, Cambridge, until noon on Fuday, the 20th March next, for the supply and delivery at such places on the line as may be directed by the District Engineer of Sixty Thousand (60,000) Railway Sleepers for the Waikato Extension Railway. The Tenders must be addressed to the Agent General Government, Cambndge, and marked "Tender for Sleepers, Waikato Extension Riilway." {Specifications, General Conditions, and Form of Tender may be seen at the Public Works Offices, at Newcastle and Auckland, and at the Office of the Agent General Government, at Cambridge. To affoid facilities to small contractors, tenders for any quantity not less than one thousand (1,000) will be received. Arrangements can be made for cutting timber in forests owned by tbe Government, for particulars of which application must be made at the Ofhoe Agent General Government, at Cambridge.
