TENDERS areinvited for|the purchase of the Whok or any portion of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Pounds New Zealand Government Debentures, issued under the Acts, of the Legislature ot the C'olouv, entitled *' The Immigration and Public Works Loan Act, 1870," and " Tlie Defence and Other Purposes Loan Act, 1870," subject to the under-mentioned conditions :: — • 1. Tlie Debentures will be payable to Bearer and w ill be issued m sums of not less than One Hundred Pounds each. 2. The Debentures, which aro secured on the Consolidated Revenue of the Colony , w ill be.ir interest at the rato of 1 per cent, per annum, pajablo half j early, on the 15th day of April and the 15th day of October in each year, at the liank of 2\ew Zealand at Auckland, New Ph mouth, Wellington, Napier, kelson, Blenheim, Chnstchurch, Ore} mouth, Hokitika, Dunedin, or Invergargill. 'A The principal sum will be payable on the 15th day of April, IUI3, at the Treasury at Wellington, or at any branch of the Bank of New Zealand, in New Xoulftnd, at tho cation oi the holder, eit months' notice being required previous to maturity, oi the place at which payment will be required. 4 Tenders will be opened at tlio Treasury at Wellington at noon on Friday, the ninth day of May ne\t, in the presence of such of the tenderers as desire to bo present — the minimum price under seal being first placed on the table. In the event of equal tenders being received for a sum in excess ot tho usue, a pro rata distribution will be maite. 5. The amount tendered for must bo paid at tho Treasury at Wellington, as under :—: — 5 per cent accompanying application ; * the balance on or before the 16th May, 1873. Lorn's of £5,000. For the production in New Zealand of 1,000 tons weight of Pig Iron, of MurLctublo quality. Condition*. 1. Tho bonui not to be given for any quantity less than 100 tons. 2. Notice of the intention to erect Iron Works and claim the bonus must be given to the Colonial {Secretary before the 31»t December, 1873. 3. The boiuu must be claimed beforo the 30th Juno 1875., - '4. The bonus will be puid to the producer who first effects a bona Jide isulo of the amount of Sugar specified. PAPER. Bonus op £2,500. For the production of 100 tons of Printing Paper, manufactured m New Zealand by Machinery . Conditions. 1. Notice of the intention to claim this bonus must bo given to the Colonial Secretary before 31st Jauuur), 1873. 2. The Paper must bo made by machinery, permanently established and working in the Colony. 3. Claims for payment of the bonus must be sent in before 31st December, 1871. •1. The bonus will bo pnid to the prodiuer who effects the first buna Jide sale of the amount of Printing Paper specified. FISII. Bonus of 4s. rrit Cwt. This bonus will be be paid on Cured lush, dry or pickled exported from the colon) for consumption abroad. Condition*. 1. The bonus will be paid to the producer on the production of account sales showing that tho F-ish bus been sold out of the Colony lor fuir market value. 2 The exporter to enter into a bond not to reland in tlio Colony an) Fish on which a bonus has been paid. 3. The bonus may be claimed on all Fiah exported be tweon Ist November, 1872, and l«t November, 187 M , and is to be paid out of all moneys appropriated for that purpose.
