Education ! Education ! THE AUCKLAND COLLEGE. The Rlv William Tayloh, Principal. TnESE premises were rc-openod in October last. The College i« pleasantly situated, overlooking the city and harbour. The grounds, comprising about five arm, afford space for gymnastic and other recreations. There is ample accommodation for Fifty Boarders, with Cla>-« Rooms, Dormitories, Bath Room, cxc No school in the province affords equal facilities for combining an educational frith a boarding establishment, and it is with the view of providing a First-class Boarding School, at a moderate cost, to which our country residents may send their children with confidence, where healthy recreation and home comforts will be combined with moral training and mental development, that the College has been re-opened. While no denominational clement will be introduced, the Principal feels strongly that moral culture based on God's Woed is the only safe course to take in the education of the young. But this will be carried out with the utmost liberality. Boarders may attend any school or place of worship at the option of parents. The domestic arrangements of the College are under the personal superintendence of Mrs. Ta\uu;. The young Ladies' Department is under the charge of Miss Ta\lor. In addition to the usual branches ot instruction in ladies schools, French, Get man, Drawing, Music, and Fancy Needlework will be taught. The comse of instruction in the High Department of the College will embrace all that is requisite for the Legal Profession, the Civil Service, Commercial Pui suits, and the University Examinations. The Principal has devoted the greater part of his life to tuition ; and, having lived some ycai s in Auckland, he is known to the leading men of the City. Terms : Payable in Advance. Taylor having leased the Wesley Callcge property, I haxe much plcasuie, as Chairman of the Trustees, in stating my belief that the education to be given under Mr. Tavlou's supciinteiidence will be stuctly undenominational in its cluuacLer, and would, theiefoie, recommend the College to the body of Wesleyans in this province.
