I'nt calves were m usual supply, and without alteration m I'igs were in short supply and in active inquiry. f l he prices obtained were ns follows : — J)airj cows at calving, £ 1 to £8 ; dry cows, £2 10s to £4 2» Gd ; eahes, 23s to 30s j twelve months' olds, from 35s ; eighteen months' to twoyear, £2 10s to £3 10s ; three-year old, ill, 10s to £5 5s ; fat tattle, 23s to 27s 0.1 tho 100 lbs; fat sheep, 3d per lb ; lambs, 12s to 21s each.
