Education ! Education ! THE AUCKLAND COLLEGE. ia^ Rev William Taylob, Pbincipal. /TTUIL3E premises were re-opened in October last. Tho JL College is pleasantly situated, overlooking the city and liarbour. Tue grouuJs, comprising about five acros, attbrd space for frjmnastic and other reoreations. There is ample accommodation for Fifty Boarder*, with Class Booms, Dormitories, Bath Boom, &c. No school in the province affords equal facilities for combining an educational with a boarding establishment, and it is with the view of providing a First-class Boarding School, at a moderate cost, to which our country residents may send their children with confidence, where healthy recreation and home comforts will be combined with moral training and meHtal development, that the College has been re-jpened. While no denominational element will bo introduced, the Principal feels strongly that moral culture based on God's Wocd it tho only safe course to take in the education of the young. But this will be carried out with the utmost liberality. Boarders may attend any school or place of worship at the option of parents. The domesaj arrangements of the College are under the personal supei in tendence of Mrs. Taylor. The young Ladies' Department is under tho charge of Miss Taylor. In addition to the usual branches of instruction in ladies schools, French, Geimau, Drawing, Music, and Fancy Needlework will be taught. The couise of instruction in the High Department of the College will embrace all that is requisite for the Legal Profession, the Civil Service, Commercial Pursuits, and the University Examinations. The Principal has devoted the greater part of his life to tuition ; and, having lived some years in Auckland, he is known to the leading men ot the City. Terms : Payable in Advance. Taylor having leased the Wesley Callege property, I have much pleasure, as Chairman of the Trustees, in stating my belief that the education to bo given under Mb.
