The City Council has purchased a site on which to construct a reservoir. Sheehy's case is proceeding in the Supreme Court. Dunedin. A Mrs Whiting has drowned her three sons at Waikapu. She also attempted to drown her daughter, aged seven years. The bodies of the boys were found in the river. She is believed to be insane.
